Clive Birnie is a poet / visual-poet / text artist working primarily with found sources and materials whether physical or digital. He is interested in the intersections where digital and analogue meet; the hidden poetry of numbers; the idea of North as a destination; a landscape; an economic hegemony; an endangered ecology. These prints are from the HastagPoetry# Project which ran through 2015-16 and explored the concept of the smartphone as a creative tool and the hidden poetry of Twitter. The HashtagPoetry# sequence ran to over 200 pieces and included an installations at the StAnza International Poetry Festival in 2016 and in Millennium Square, Bristol for National Poetry Day 2016. More prints will be released here from time to time.
